Welcome to Virtual EMS at UK!
Welcome to the virtual scheduling system for the University of Kentucky Student Center, Memorial Hall, outdoor space and tailgating space on campus. Event Management System (EMS) provides the campus community a tool to view space availability and schedule location for your campus events.
To Schedule an Event:
You must have an EMS account before requesting space on-line. Once you have an EMS account, select My Account, Login and follow the instructions provided on the pages by the Event Management System.
To Create an EMS Account:
First time users must first request an EMS account. You must be a representative of a UK Department or the President, Vice President, Treasurer or Philanthropy Chair of a registered student organization to request an on-line account. Your request to be a user will be pending until it is reviewed by the Student Center Event Management Office. You will receive an email once your user account is activated. A valid UK e-mail address is required.
It is important to understand you are requesting space, not reserving space. Additional approvals might be necessary prior to confirming the space. Do not publish or print the location until you have received a confirmation of space reservation from the Event Management Office.
Ballroom requests cannot be submitted online. Please contact the Event Management Office directly to schedule events in the ballroom. Availability can be viewed online.
The system is set-up to accept reservation requests that are at least 48 hours in advance. Requests made fewer than 48 hours in advance will result in the following error: First Available Booking Date Violation. If you need to make a reservation fewer than 48 hours in advance, please contact the Event Management Office directly by emailing Hannah Centers Hannah.email@example.com or Ashley Casteel firstname.lastname@example.org.
